FORUMS

May 22, 7pm: The League of Women Voters and Southmoreland Neighborhood Association will be co-hosting a forum in Bragg Auditorium at All Souls - 4501 Walnut to inform area residents about the proposed Special Taxing District which would finance the extension of the streetcar.

The forum will be moderated by Linda Smith of the League of Women Voters. Jan Marcason, former City Council member and current Board member of the KC Streetcar authority, will speak in favor of the proposal. Sherry DeJanes, Treasurer of Smart KC will speak against the proposal.

Written questions will be taken from the audience. Please plan to attend this informational meeting and get your questions answered.

You must request a ballot to vote on this issue. Your request for a ballot must be submitted by May 23 at 5 pm.

Visitation Church will have an information session on the pros and cons of street car after masses May 20th-Sat 4pm Mass Sun May 21st 9 am and 11 am. Mass last about 1 hour the meeting will begin right after Mass.
