Celebrate Sunshine: Learn how the Sunshine Law has been used to ensure Open Government

This educational presentation, which is free and open to the public, recognizes Sunshine Week and the 50th Anniversary of the Missouri Open Meetings and Records Law.

Sunshine Week, a national observation sponsored by the News Leaders Association (formerly the American Society of News Editors) promotes open government and encourages education on the importance of government transparency and open access.

A panel of experts will share their experiences with the Sunshine Law and answer questions.

* Dave Helling, Moderator - journalist emeritus;
* Steve Vockrodt - investigative editor, NPR Midwest Newsroom:
* Max Kautsch - Kautsch Law, LLC, a lawyer whose practice focuses on First Amendment rights and open government law.
