Once again we need League members to urge registered voters who didn't vote in the last general election to vote. Please join the safe "at-home" postcard party.
We provide the short message, LWV postcards, address labels, and stamps (unless you want to donate the postage). You supply the elbow grease.
Sign up at the LWVKC.org Volunteer section (last item in the newsletter) and let us know how many postcards you can send or contact Symie Menitove, sdmenitove@gmail.com directly.
This is a sample message:
Dear (first name)
We don't need to tell you how important this election is - you already know.
Please make a plan to vote by Election Day, Nov. 3. (We're saying by Election Day, as
we're also encouraging voting early in person at any of the Board of Election locations
to avoid crowds and long lines.)
