Your vote MATTERS! Learn about candidates for Missouri Senate and Missouri House of Representatives - who work alongside the governor to create laws and establish a state budget. Responsibilities include passing bills on public policy matters, setting levels for state spending, raising and lowering taxes, and voting to uphold or override gubernatorial vetoes. State senators are limited to two 4-year terms. State senators are limited to two 4-year terms and state representatives are limited to four 2-year terms.
