This month's meeting will feature Alice Kitchen, long time activist and LWVKC member, who  will discuss the Gender Equality Task Force Report.

LWVKC members Claudia Horton and Cyn McArdle will share information from the Abortion Action organization. 

Anne Calvert will bring us up to date on the Peace, Love, Vote fundraiser scheduled for September18, 2025.

Speakers:

▪ Alice Kitchen is an activist on the local, state and national levels working in the areas of
equality, mental health, and child protection. Alice is a well known and active member of the
League of Women Voters KC.

▪ Claudia Horton and Cyn McArdle are members of the League of Women Voters
KC and active with GOTV and other committees.

▪ Anne Calvert - Peace, Love, Vote Organizer. Anne is President-Emeritus of the League of
Women Voters KC. She is active with the Tech Committee and Fund Raising Committee and
Co-founder/Teacher of the Leadership Academy.
