Join us to research how cities and school districts in Cass, Clay, Jackson, and Platte counties are governed and write a short description for use in VOTE411, the League's online voter guide. A good description of what board members, trustees, aldermen, and other officials are responsible for helps voters determine which candidate is best suited for the office. We'll provide an introduction to VOTE411, strategies for finding the information, and examples of descriptions. Please bring your own computer or tablet. This volunteer opportunity does not require Nonpartisan/DEI training.
