MONTHLY MEETING: Thomas Hart Benton and the "Year of Peril" Series

Steve Sitton, Administrator of the Thomas Hart Benton Home State Historic Site, will provide the program. Following the attack on Pearl Harbor, Missouri artist Thomas Hart Benton decided to create a series of paintings collectively known as The Year of Peril designed to "wake up middle America" to the dangers we faced. Steve Sitton will discuss these paintings and Benton's political and military background.  
Join at 9:30am for social time.  The meeting will begin at 10am.

This event is available via Zoom and will be live-streamed on the League's Facebook page.  A recording of the meeting will be available on the League's website.
